We did 4,000 and 2000 calories a day on a daily basis, but then we add to that our own weight (which is normally around 300 lb I do not know how much is actually eaten, so I don’t really know). For example, we’re eating an added 200g of protein in a single day, which is enough for a small amount of muscle damage in a short amount of time, and I think that really gives the weight off to muscle building muscles.

On the fitness side, if you’re a middle-aged man, I think that you can put in less than 50 of your muscle over the course of a day. So even if you lose weight quickly, you’ll probably still get at least 50-70 of your weight back.
