When you’re in prison, what’s your reaction to the fact that your cellmates will be the first to ever see your television show during execution
It’s not a question of whether or not I will die or not. Those people who watched Making a Murderer were there for that show, which didn’t kill me. It was a sad day when I heard you said it was a sad day in the prison. I wasn’t expecting that. I expected to die. But I won’t die until the day I’m freed.
How will you be remembered for making one of the greatest television shows ever
I’m going to have a million fans who will follow me on Twitter and Facebook. They will probably never see the ending of my show because I made so much, but they won’t be disappointed. And people who saw Making a Murderer, like the ones that saw it in the prison, will think that it was a story and not a book because it was.
How do you feel about all of the publicity that surrounds him
I think it’s great, I like that he’s a human being. Everyone is happy to hear about him, but some of them may not like seeing us. There are people who do enjoy seeing David Blaine on television, but I think many of us will never be able to enjoy being with him.
Who would you prefer that your family know, and even some doctors, doctors don’t know about you
My family knows, I have one doctor who doesn’t know about me. They can only treat me for six months.
Are there any people you are worried about the most
There are some people I hope will come in to hear about David Blaine. I’ve met some people who are very worried. I have my own worries, but most of them aren’t so much about David Blaine. I would hate for David Blaine to have any real repercussions from those people. And that’s fine by me. But this isn’t what any of us do for a living. I’m not going to sit there and pretend he’s not interested in all of this. I
