I’ve got no idea if I would ever consider giving it up. But I have been playing in some great countries where I’ve never heard a good sound, so I’m looking forward to my experience. You can probably just imagine the things I’ll say to my son when I start playing.

There always are. The truth is, I don’t think it’s easy to become a musician. Some people just want to become a pro-artist, some get turned off because they don’t have great work opportunities, some just want a taste of living a lifestyle, or some just want to spend money on something that they feel is so difficult that they want to go to the trouble of making money as a musician. I think there is a lot of work involved. But a lot of what’s required depends entirely on what you know and you’ll always feel there is work to be done.
