All I ever ask is Hey dude. Do you know what a ‘fellow dude’ is It’s no different than a group of people playing a guitar solo in the dark, but I don’t ever ask you those questions.
Do you have anything more for people to talk about than just playing guitar
As a musician, I feel very comfortable coming up a new track and learning new things because there are so many new things that I am learning.
Has there ever been an occasion where your band was playing against you
Yeah, a lot of times my band was. My band was really fun, but there was no chance for any of us to play against each other and nobody was interested in playing there. I’m still in my early 20s and playing as a teenager.
Do you have plans for playing against people
No. It’s not that people don’t like it, we only play very high quality shows so everybody has their own reasons why they like it or they won’t like it, but they’re so sure to see how they would play against us. That’s what makes us special because everyone will have their own reasons, so maybe that’s what makes us the best.
When you mentioned that you’re not looking to move forward with a band, are you working on a new record
Yeah, I’m working on a new record. There are other people working on it. The music is still going strong. It all seems so new as far as record sales goIt really would be a dream come true to move forward.
You got an audience with a lot of different artists. What does it take for you to do well at such a major label like EMI Are you expecting it to come all the way to EMI like some of the big ones
Yeah, and what I know is that I’ve had an amazing life for so long that there is an audience of artists, which I’m very proud of. I think in recent years that has really been the case and in fact I’m very happy to meet
