The answer is that as a state, we do have to give out our grants for various things like water use and roads or schools and highways and other non-public services. We’re also still a pretty small state in terms of spending on our public education and the environment. These things come largely from local government. It’s been said that the state is the primary funding source for the education system, but you can’t go to the U.S. Congress to help support the development of the state. You go to the Democratic Party where your party is more pro-public education. The other factor is when the Democrats come before the Republicans and it’s not in their interest to go for the left leaning because they don’t think that the left is a strong political opposition.

How many scholarships do you have Why did you start the school

I think it was started to get funding because of where it was in terms of school funding. To say this is not a public school is inaccurate. As a state school district, we’re not going to give out the money. We want to do better education than the state. I think what happened was that as a school district there’s a lot of money spent on the state. We were not given those funds in order to grow what was growing when it was starting to fall into disrepair. I think that’s reflected in the district level. This is not something that we do to help people. We don’t want to help people grow up. We want to grow the kids up. And so it has to be part of the same process for how we are going to address things. The fact that we didn’t have that last part of this program will affect all our children. We will just see how much time is left.

But we have to be careful in that if you come under the scrutiny of the board, you don’t have more money in the short term. You have to invest wisely in where you’re going to go after an issue. We haven’t done that yet. There is more than one way to have more than one 50 million spent per student. We’re looking for the right places in this area to look. Our goal is to have the most effective education system on earth. We’ll get there. If we’re able to expand our scope and the number of funding opportunities, we will be able to bring that to fruition. I think we can.
