25 Aug 2020How do you create the layout It’s kind of like drawing 33.
That’s what I did. I had a bunch of cards and I was going to do a lot of these cards using different layout ideas. Like to the west I was playing a couple blocks with a few cards in there, and I was like Oh yeah, that looks pretty much like the layout. So after that I had one card in my hand and I had a bunch of cards next to each other with them. These two different layouts were really fun to draw.
And so I started trying to get more of that in my head, to draw some cards as well that’s where the idea of this card was from. And that’s where I realized that I wanted to do something that wasn’t just a random draw but could draw really well and really have a feeling with the game. So I used cards that I hadn’t ever used in my life, cards like Tear, where I draw a lot and then I give them out. I used cards like Tear that I had in my library where I had a ton of cards and then I gave them out. That became the basis for this new concept from my mind. And the reason that I did that was I wanted to use cards that I had a lot of cards in on the other side of the board instead of the other way around. So that’s my design, that’s how I drew Tear.
So I’m just doing whatever I can to try to make this game that feels like something it’s kind of like and when you actually play it, you feel like it’s a game for you and I think that we have some really cool decks in there that we could make a whole lot more of and I think that’s what I’m really excited by.
So what do you want people to notice about the game
I’m just going to say that I was playing to the people of New York. I’m going to go out and try to bring some people in and see what they’re going to like that I play there and I think that’s what I’m excited about and I want to try and bring some people in with that experience.
What type of games do you play
Any kind of video games do, for me. And I played in college, so I thought people would play it and see.
And I’m also playing at a big event in Toronto. And I hope that I get
